Not a day goes by that I don’t spend time with my camera capturing something I see. Photography is a huge part of my life.

So far my main focus has been Landscapes, often taken in and around my home in Gloucestershire. Still Life, Abstract and Food Photography are all a pretty big part of what I do as well.

Hopefully, my aim over the next few months is to turn my attention to portraits and people photography. To me, it seems like portraiture is one of the best ways to really put your style across on your images. As the photographer, you can have the complete control of the location, lighting, posing etc so that you capture an image that noone else can.

I’m a firm believer in living out of your comfort zone, and stretching your abilities so that you are always trying something new. I’ve yet to have ago at “proper” people photography, so it seems like the next thing for me to try out.
