In early August we headed up north a bit to photograph Danielle and George’s awesome wedding day in Liverpool. After a whistle stop tour of the city during their engagement shoot earlier in the summer, we were super happy to be back among the awesome vibrant architecture to capture their big day. Danielle and George are both just the coolest, sweetest people ever, and you can’t help but smile when you spend time with them. Before meeting up to get married at the Town Hall, both of them had a super chilled out morning getting ready, although with their own little surprises. Danielle bought George a Gibson guitar, and George surprised Danielle with a little puppy!

After a wonderfully tender and personal ceremony, everyone headed up stairs for drinks and hugs in the town hall, before walking, driving or taxiing it down to Liverpool’s waterfront to the awesome Circo, an eclectic, cool circus themed bar in Albert Docks. After popcorn and pims, everyone sat down to awesome food and honestly some of the most kick ass speeches we’ve come across yet during our time photographing weddings. George was on fire.

After chilling, and eating and some more pictures, the party moved down the road to Oh Me Oh My, a brilliant space full of fairy lights and bunting, and just the perfect place to be all evening, to drink and dance and have fun. We feel so lucky to have been a part of it all.
