Just two weeks before the big day itself, Clemence and Eric got in touch to tell us about their plans to get married at St Pancras Train Station in London, with just a handful of their closest family with them. Both originally from France, they had just a few weeks to sort everything out before they moved to Indonesia for Clem’s work, and they both want the chance to get married in one of their favourite places in London before they left.

Fast forward a few weeks and with the grand architecture above us, hundreds of Friday morning commuters below, and departing trains just a few meters away, it did feel a little surreal while everyone was chatting and waiting for the registrars. There was no big fan fare, no white dress or big rush to get ready, everyone just turned up, hugged, laughed and then it was time to get married. Despite a pause or two for train announcements, the ceremony was brief but full of emotion. Afterwards we briefly went off to take some pictures in the grand old building, before everybody said their goodbyes and Clem and Eric boarded a train to Paris. It was a relaxed, intimate but very special day, and we’re so glad to have been a part of it.
