One warm August summers day just outside the village of Wollaston, Northamptonshire, Carolyn was getting ready to marry Andrew. Getting ready at the French Partridge, Caz was super excited and just so fun to be around, with an eclectic but awesome playlist of music in the background and having err…pork pies for breakfast. Andrew has a slight shirt related emergency, but still took everything in his stride and was just super happy and excited for what the day had to bring. The morning passed in a bit of blur and before we knew it, a beautiful Aston Martin 1933 Lagonda was waiting outside, ready to whisk Caz down the winding country lanes to St Mary’s Church in Wollaston to find her Andrew and get married.
After a beautiful, intimate ceremony, and a teeny weeny bit of confetti, everyone walked over to pocket park for drinks, hugs and high fives. There was a bench in the park dedicated to Andrew’s younger brother who tragically died 10 years ago. He was in the local scout group and helped build the well area in the park, so it was so touching that could include the park as part of their wedding day.
Caz + Andrew had put so much time and effort and themselves in decorating the Parochial rooms, a lovely red brick building in the middle of the Wollaston, which was full hand made details, like sparkly letters by Caz, a handmade sweet cart by her Dad, and lots and lots of paper lanterns. It all looked pretty special and full of the personality and flair of Caz + Andrew. Carrying on with the relaxed, rustic village theme, everyone had a fish and chip supper, and a lot of ice cream for desert. After a couple more portraits, the guys headed back for their first dance, to Beatles number “This Boy”, before getting right in there with dancing the night away.
Carolyn and Andrew are just an effortlessly cool, fun and kind couple, and we are so happy to be have been there to capture their fun, relaxed and beautiful wedding day.
