Elize and Sally’s civil partnership took place on a chilly December day at Tortworth Court just outside Gloucester. With Christmas just round the corner, the venue was decorated with the biggest Christmas tree I’ve ever seen, and our couple had some wonderful ideas for their movie and musical themed reception; giving us a brilliantly fun and interesting day to photograph.
The morning started with a warm, comforting and pretty relaxed morning of Elize and Sally getting ready, before the lunchtime civil ceremony taking place in the nearby glass roofed orangery. Even the sun came out for couple of portraits on the lawn, before heading back inside for speeches and dancing. Throughout the day we were entertained by Barbara and James, their hand picked Toastmasters.
Elize and Sally, their friends and family made the atmosphere throughout the day so fun, friendly and just darn happy, and we loved being there to shoot their winter wedding day.
